A simple, yet beautiful delicate pencil drawing of a pot plant. Using line, and shaded areas to express shape a three dimensional effect is expressed. Light is suggested, with eraser markings, which also creates a beautiful pattern effect. The delicate plants in the pot plant create an interesting contrast to the weight and size of the pot. Subtle suggestion of lemon yellow is gently used to give a lovely light effect.
I chose a simple thin matt silver frame so as not to detract from the delicate detail, and shedding of the composition expressed.
